<div class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0in 0in 12pt;">
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"><span style="color: #444444;">
</span></span><span style="font-family: inherit;"><span style="background-color: black; color: white;">This week was a very blessed week for me. My thoughts and emotions are
changing so fast due to the surreal idea of going home that it's difficult to
discern what I'm actually thinking and feeling. I have nothing more to
say than thank you to my God! This weekend was General Conference and two
people (Erik and Maria) were baptized in between the first and second session
on Sunday. It was a baptism full of miracles that we didn't deserve but
that a loving Heavenly Father granted us. Hearts were touched, lives were
changed, and future baptisms will follow. We spent the whole week
preparing for those baptisms. </span></span></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0in 0in 12pt;">
<span style="background-color: black; color: white; font-family: inherit;">The Departing Fireside that was held Sunday
was a time for all the missionaries going home to bear one last testimony to those
they had taught throughout the past two years. Once again the unreal
feeling of going home caused me to be relaxed and composed. I have
continually put off the thought of going home these past few weeks so that I can
endure to the end. When I have taken the time to ponder, the Spirit fills
my soul with joy and hope for the future ahead. </span></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0in 0in 12pt;">
<span style="background-color: black; color: white; font-family: inherit;">After being so fortified
and strengthened by the call of being a full time missionary for these past two
years I have been humbled as I have come to realize the changes that will be occurring in the near future.
I am grateful for all the support and love
that I have felt while on my mission. I know that this isn't the end but
a beginning. I'm looking forward to the further growth that Heavenly
Father wants me to gain. I'm excited to share my stories with all of you! :)
I know God lives and love us. I know this church is true. I testify that
it is only through the Atonement of Christ that anything good comes to
pass. Our God is a miracle producing god, and for that I am eternally
grateful!</span></div>

faith and hope that I have for next transfer just makes it better! I feel
that with transfers and the changes that will be taking place will help this
ward turn around and that we will see a lot of success in these next 6
week!! I'm super pumped!! we didn't get to go by and see Sylvia this
week. It is a big bummer because of how close she is to baptism. I
hope to stop by this week. John is doing really well! He is reading
in the Book of Mormon and we had a church tour with him this week. We set
a date with him for the 29 of this month! I had a
cool experience where my bike tire popped right next to my ear but I didn't
suffer any hearing problems. Divine intervention? I think so!!
:) Elder Manwill and I went on exchanges again. I love going
on exchanges with Elder Manwill. We always have awesome spiritual experiences and this time we had an
experience with the power of prayer and listening to the Spirit. During
this experience the Lord blessed us with help instead of us blessing the person
we came in contact with. It was really cool! I'm looking forward to
helping out the new district and trying to get the work bolting
forward! :)<o:p></o:p></div>

We do have transfers this Tuesday. I will get a new
companion!! His name is Elder Plewe. I will be back-up training him
and I was called to be a district leader too. There are 15 missionaries
in my district (including me)! That's a lot, that's as big as some of
our zones! Two are sister missionaries and two are a senior couple and
two are me and my comp. That leaves me with 9 Elders that I will need to
go on exchanges with and I need to go on one with a zone leader, so that's 10
exchanges this transfer (6 weeks)! That's a lot! I'm excited for it!!
Other than that everything is the same. I'm in the same ward, same area,
same house. So it should be a good, busy transfer! yay!<o:p></o:p></div>
<br />
<div class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0in 0in 0pt;">
It's awesome to hear about how you think of us all the time
and that we are actually in the white shirts, ties, and black name tag.
It is kind of unreal, when you look back on it, having three sons serving missions at the same time, and then to think that it is
almost over for one of us is even crazier!! haha. Thank you for your
prayers :)</div>

This week was a good week as always! I was getting a
bit sick at the beginning of the week but I'm feeling better now. We
had a ward talent show this weekend and that cause us to give a lot of extra
unexpected service. So this week we didn't do too much teaching.
I've been making the best of what is thrown at me and I'm having fun with
Elder Olson. I hope that we get some teaching done this week. I
just feel like I'm accomplishing more when I'm teaching. Knocking doors isn't
too effective in this area because there are just better things to do
with your time. I have been getting to know some of our ward members
really well as they feed us dinners (which we have almost every night) and as
we visit with them. I was on exchanges with Elder Manwill this past week
and that was awesome! We were able to do some good 'ol hard work.
We contacted a lot of people and had some good lessons! Elder
Manwill has a great mindset for missionary work. Elder Olson is different
than any of my other companions. We are
friends and we have fun together!</div>

This week was a super good week for Elder Fife and myself.
We had some days this week full of lessons and then we found some great
potentials! We found a family of 8 that are just potentials at this point but
we are praying hard that things pan out and the Lord blesses them and we teach
well enough so they can make the correct decision to follow Jesus Christ!! The Lord is really stacking the deck in our favor!! We have 3 people with dates and we soon will have more. We invite
everyone to be baptized on the first lesson so when we go back for the second
one this week we hope to have them commit to a date. We have had some cool
experiences this week and I'm excited for this week coming one!! We both are super
tired at night and I don't know how we make it through the next day but the Lord
helps us out. Its great to be with a companion like Elder Fife who is always
trying to do better. We've been working great together and I'm very grateful for
that.<o:p></o:p></div>
<br />
<div class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0in 0in 0pt;">
I don't think i need anything at the moment but if you would
like to pray the we do the Lords will with this family of 8
that would be awesome and that we get guided to a "golden"
family :). Did you
have a baptism recently?? We are close to the church and we are and in
average apartment. The showers are cold depending on the day but life is
good here in Whittier :) </div>

<br />
<div class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0in 0in 0pt;">
This week was another great week! one of our investigators,
Alex, is progressing very well. He's reading and praying and is always there
when we meet with him. I went on
exchanges with Elder Taylor this week. He took over the area for the first time
and did a great job! Elder Manning is doing a great job traning him. We set his
first baptismal date while on the exchange. It was a great lesson! The
Spirit was there. This week we found a member that was going all the way to L.A.
to go to church because she didnt know about the one we go to. We ran into her
later on p-day and then found her house by a miracle and she came to church
yesterday! She is a solid member. We're teaching a boy how to read English. Next time we want to
share the dvd about the Restoration. We have a lot of potential and will be
focusing on listenting to the Spirit about who to go by and when. HAPPY
EASTER!!<o:p></o:p></div>
<br />
<div class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0in 0in 0pt;">
You asked what white washing was. White washing is when two new missionaries go into an
area. They don't know the members, investigators, city streets, they
are new to everything in the area. A lot of it is happening because wards
are getting more missionaries. If you get sister missionaries they will be white washing because
there aren't any sisters to "hand off" the area to them. I'm sure the
missionaries in the ward know what it means. The display from the visitor's center in D.C. sounds cool! Send me some
pictures if you can. </div>

<div class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0in 0in 0pt;">
This week was a great week! It's awesome to be with Elder Fife
again! The area is great and we have a lot of potential going for us and for
the zone. Elder Fife is a go-getter and that is super awesome. Its good to be
on the move all the time. I feel like Elder Fife and I are going to do great here! We found a
man named Chris who seems to have a lot of potential and we just contacted a
family who were former investigators yesterday! With a lot of prayer and faith
the Lord can bless this area a lot! I can feel the Lord putting everything into
our hands.... I hope we don't mess it up. The zone is doing well and so are the
areas that are white washing. Elders Tamacas and Wahlen have a date for the 31st
of this month and Elder Manning! I think this zone is about to blow up!!<o:p></o:p></div>
<br />
<div class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0in 0in 0pt;">
I think Elder Fife likes being a zone leader and I think we
will work well together! I'm excited about it. We have always had
sister missionaries in this mission since I have been here and we do have some
in our zone. They do the work a little differently then Elders most of
the time so I'm interested to see how it will help out the ward back home! We are
seeing the surge big time. We are at 191 missionaries in our mission and
we were around 150-160 and we might be getting up to 250 before the end of
the year so things are getting intense out here!! It is super awesome!</div>

Como estas? This transfer the zone leader responsabilities have
really taken up a lot of time. I'm not in the same stake that we meet with
because the Spanish stake that we are a part of is outside of our
mission. We meet with the Stake President of the Cypress stake as
apposed to the one for the Santa Ana Sur stake. He has a way to
get the whole stake more focused on missionary work and making it the
"culture" of the stake. He is going around to every ward
during wark council and sharing this plan he has. <o:p></o:p></div>
<br />
<div class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0in 0in 0pt;">
One of the coolest
things to do is to learn how Christ taught, or the Apostles and then
mimic it in a lesson or a contact and feel the Spirit work throught you
because you take on a better mind set and incorporate different attributes of
Christ, which allows the Spirit to work. I am really starting to
realize how to love and show love. I'm not perfect but its getting
better. I realized it a lot this week as I was saying bye to people
because tomorrow I get transfered to Whittier after being here for 6ish
months. I will be with my MTC companion Elder Fife so im excited about
that. I don't know my new address yet but I'm still a zone leader and I'm
still in a car but I think we will be biking because it's a small area. You can still write me at the address to the right and I will get the letters.<o:p></o:p></div>
<br />
<div class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0in 0in 0pt;">
This week was a good week. I went on an exchange with
Elder George this past week. His heart is in the right place and he has been doing well. He has a good
sense of being able to tell when things are working smoothly and when they are
not. He has the desire to always do his best and he knows why he is out
here. The Martinez family is doing great! I gave the kids some HLJ
(CTR) rings. this past transfer we have had the opportunity to give many
blessings to the Sisters. It's always tough to leave an area but it helps me see the love I really have
for those I have served and helps me feel and understand the purpose of a
missionary better. It does cause me to feel like I wish I could have done
more but I like to turn that into motivation for the next transfer. I'm
excited to be with Elder Fife and hope to teach some families in Whittier!!!</div>

I've been out for 16 months and the mission is great! I love the work I'm doing and serving the people in Long Beach. I'm currently a zone leader and have been spending a lot of time with this responsibility.<br />

This week was a good week. It was full of good
meetings and we had to help out some missionaries during the week. We
didn't get the opportunity to teach as much this week. It has caused me to
learn to take advantage of the teaching situations I'm in. A recent convert, Mauricio,
blessed the sacrament this week and bore his testimony! It was
awesome!! The Stake Presidency meeting we had this week was good and the
stake has a great vision for the future. Zone meeting this week was
really good! We taught by the Spirit and it really helped our numbers
this week. Our zone has had some baptisms the past two weeks and the
missionaries are setting dates like crazy! It's awesome! We had an
investigator at church yesterday (Mario). It was nice that he came and I
think things are getting better with him and his family. I went on
exchanges this week with Elder Shields. He can teach well. He likes to crack jokes and is
easy to get a long with. Over all things in the zone are good and
it will only get better!</div>
